Interested In Alternative Modes Of Transportation?

Posted on: March 21st, 2013 by Pulse No Comments

Alternative Modes Of TransportationBeing interested in a new form of transportation certainly isn’t that new of an idea, but it is a much more popular idea these days.  There are several different forms of transportation that can be taken such as the public transit, which includes the bus and train systems, bicycles, and good old footwork with walking.  There are companies that are making the best electric scooters out there, Pulse Scooters.

Alternative modes of transportation are a great idea to keep in mind if you live in a major metropolitan area.  Cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York all are great places to have alternative modes of transportation.  Bikes, skateboard cruisers, and scooters can all save you money, gas and the headache of having to find a parking space.

All of these types of activities can lead to a decrease in actual motor vehicle congestion, and have a lasting impact on the environment. The best scooters tend to be electric scooters and give you the option of not having to pedal the whole way to work or school.  These kinds of scooters all are wonderful for the environment because they are electric and do not put off any kind of carbon monoxide into the air.

It is not surprising that people are using these types of modes of transportation to get around.  As a matter of fact the electric scooter is becoming more of an option than an actual car because the price of gas is so astronomical, and the cost of keeping a car far outweighs the alternative.  So if you are on the fence and are thinking about alternative modes of transportation you should consider a bike, scooter, skateboard, or something else that is a little more environmentally friendly.  Earth is only going to last as long as we want it to.

Scooter GamesA New Approach To Education

Education is one of the main concerns of parents everywhere.  There is a large amount of concern that is devoted to the activities and studies that are done within the schools that we send our children to.

This is a just cause, we want the best for our children and are concerned about things that will shape their minds and make them more or less impressionable to certain aspects in life.  There is a new fad that is coming up that could change the way physical education is approached in schools.  Scooter games are slowly being integrated into physical education classes around the nation.

This is a great opportunity for children to grow and experience an outside the box type approach to physical education.  There are many children who have received scooters as presents for Christmas or their birthdays and what better way to utilize them than to have scooters games in P.E.?

Realistically there are many different ways that you can incorporate scooters into games within the curriculum and it is a great way for kids to stay connected and interested in what they are allowed to do.  The fact that schools are staying relevant is a great move and it seems to be a win-win situation.

What Happened To Exercise?

Posted on: March 19th, 2013 by Pulse 1 Comment

In today’s day and age it is difficult to get our children to exercise.  There is so much competition with the television programs, the video games and other activities that children are presented with.  Exercise seems to take a back seat to all of these different activities.

What Happened To ExerciseThere has to be a way to get them to exercise, and the slither scooter is one such way.  There are many ways to incorporate physical activity into your children’s daily routine, and a scooter would certainly increase the level of physical activity that they were taking and increase the level of fun that they were having.

Another way to have them exercise is to allow them to use the Pulse Slither as a mode of transportation.  Getting to and from locations is slightly more difficult when you are younger.  To be honest, it was a major achievement to get where the destination was when we were all children.

It was a means of expressing a level of independence and truly gave us the feeling that we were able to accomplish the goals that we were set out to accomplish.  The physical activity was more of a side note, but it was something that was always taken into account when any of us were thinking of getting somewhere.

Reflecting back on the times of youth, it seemed that exercise was always involved.  There was always a better place to be, and it was going to take some time to get there because of the bike, slither scooter or skateboard that was being used to reach the ultimate goal of getting where we wanted to be.  Today however, it seems that the priorities have changed and there are many more video games than there are ways to get around for kids.

Scooters And EducationThink Scooters Are Just For Fun? They Can Be Used For Education As Well

Scooters have been around a little while so we can now see children on them frequently out in the streets and in skateparks across the nation.  The interesting thing about scooters is that they are now being used for an educational purpose.

There are many schools that seem to be using scooters to incorporate exercise into their lesson plans.  Learning about different consequences of low frequency of exercise is one such lesson.  Teachers are setting up lesson plans to help children understand the great effects of exercise and how that leads to a healthy heart and healthy living.

With all of the ways that we need to compete for the attention of our children due to the increased popularity of video games we all could take a few notes from these outside the box ideas about physical education.

The incorporation of physical exercise into different aspects of education seems to be a slightly obvious overture, but yet it is more or less about the way that it is being integrated into education, and what the children are learning.  The fact that we have teachers that are also concerned about the physical health of our children is a great feeling and we should all be so lucky.

A Few Ways To Practice Cost Savings

Posted on: March 12th, 2013 by Pulse No Comments

Cost Saving TipsWe are all very concerned with saving money and making the most out of our almighty dollar.  There are many ways that we can stretch out our money in order to make sure that we are getting all the we can out of our purchases.  With the ever-increasing price of gas and the major increase in the cost of living it is not at all surprising that we are all trying to save some money here and there.

The point is that we are all trying to find ways to save money, and items like a pulse electric scooter could help, or riding public transit a couple of days of the week instead of driving would be a great way to save money.

Here are a few other ways to save money:

  • Use what you have:  Make your own dinner instead of eating out so much.  It is possible to have a good time with friends at a restaurant without buying food and falling into the ‘eating out every night’ paradigm.  Making your own food is much less expensive than prepared food whether its fast food or a fancy restaurant, it doesn’t matter.

  • Do you need that extra service:  You know the full package of HBO, Cinemax, Showtime PLUS all the sports channels?  These are costly extras that if you aren’t able to enjoy them more than once a week you do not need.

  • Watch your ATM expenses: Buying a Pulse Scooter out of town in cash by extracting money from a bank that is not yours can have consequences down the road if you’re not careful.

  • Buy just in time: Buying in bulk can be good for certain products, but you don’t want to clutter your pantry and refrigerator.

  • Look at alternative transportation: Electric Scooters are a great idea and can save you a lot of around town money.

Keep these tips in mind when you are thinking about having to save money down the line and they won’t lead you astray.
